She watched as her daughter and her companions left her chambers. The clawing feeling entering her chest once again. There was so much she wanted to say, and so little time to say it all. She bit back some tears and got dressed, not waring her normal gown, but beautiful blue armor. So many regrets.
“What are you wearing…” Her husband spits venom at her once more, his bloodshot eyes seemed to be shining now.
“I will not continue to allow you to treat MY people like this. I will not continue to allow you to hurt these people…” she stood her ground and reached to her hip, pulling out her spear. It is beautiful and made out of blue platinum.
“You woul-” The King gasped and turned around, the sounds of explosions could be heard outside. Before he could look back at the Queen he felt something hit the back of his head. He let out a quiet yelp and the Queen continued to bash his skull in. She took her weapon and forced it deep into his back, his spine cracked. The spear was left standing, she stepped over his body and walked to the door.
Murder, she murdered her husband. The sounds of people screaming could be heard from all over. She worked hard, setting the nameless free, she led a few groups to the Rockshire Inn. The bartender, Willoughby O’Shire, would start helping people escape the city. The Queen moved quickly and rushed back outside, looking up she saw The Mad One and a corrupted Goddess. She moved her hands in such a way, watching her people run by her.
There was no way her allies would be here in time, and she had to make sure more people escaped the city, she had to make sure this was not all for nothing.
“ You will not win this day…” She swings her arms and crosses them to her chest. Letting out a banshee cry she looked up to the sky, her red eye turning a bright baby blue, blood drizzling from the sides of her mouth. The sky turned red and it started to rain fireballs as Arrondeth has NEVER seen.
The Queen was able to make herself pure, her love for her people, and the desire for things to be right. The love she had for the living creatures and for the world around her made this possible. Her heart was always pure and it came through. Over 45,000 people were able to escape the city that day, and because of the Queen, The Mad One was unable to find The Chosen One.
